Zealand’s Biggest Business Event Hits the Capital
New Zealand’s biggest business event is coming to Wellington this month. Following the success of last year’s event, Thrive Wellington 2004 is on at the Westpac St James on Thursday August 19.
Thrive Wellington is presented by the EMA (Central), and is produced by the EMA (Northern).
Presented in a multimedia theatrical environment, Thrive Wellington is entertaining, action packed, and loaded with practical advice. With a star-studded lineup of some of New Zealand’s hottest entrepreneurs, Thrive Wellington is focused on inspiring the Capital’s business community to focus on growth.
MC Raybon Kan will present a diverse range of speakers, including web entrepreneur Sam Morgan, whose startup auction site ww.trademe.co.nz has become New Zealand’s largest internet business, alternative music magnate Mike Tucker, whose Loop Recordings imprint is taking Kiwi music across the globe, film producer John Barnett, who turned a hunch into a worldwide smash when he released The Whale Rider to global acclaim and Emily Loughnan, Wellington tech guru whose online learning products have won international awards.
The lineup also includes Dave Dobbyn who will be providing entertainment and insight into the business of music and multimedia fashion star Lindah E will be presenting her stunning stage show in a Wellington debut.
Tickets to the day-long event, including morning and afternoon tea, lunch and a post-show cocktail party are great value at only $95.00 plus GST for EMA members ($125 plus gst for non-members).
