Online brochures from Air New Zealand

30 August 2004

Read it like a book with new online brochures from Air New Zealand Holidays

Viewing holiday brochures online has just become a lot easier with the introduction of Air New Zealand Holiday's unique, new eBrochures.

Launched on the Air New Zealand website (www.airnewzealand.co.nz ) recently the new eBrochures replicate the glossy hard copies and also turn page by page online, as if you were leafing through a brochure in the comfort of your own home.

The Air New Zealand Holiday's eBrochures are a New Zealand-first, utilising new software from US based e-Marketing Inc, a company specialising in developing electronic marketing applications for the travel industry.

The new technology makes viewing electronic versions of brochures, which are normally in PDF format, more user friendly and interactive, says Air New Zealand Holidays Manager Nick Mudge.

"The ebrochures save users time and hassle, because they don't need to install software to be able to access them and don't need to wait as long for them to download either."

"In addition the new technology allows people to email specific pages to others by tagging pages with virtual sticky notes called iFlags. The iFlags also enable users to quickly reference back to a tagged page, as well as the ability to click and open specific sections on each page. It's very interactive."

The new eBrochures are high quality, full colour online copies of the print versions of our documents and can be printed out page by page as they are being viewed.

The new eBrochures feature accommodation and activity options for 12 Air New Zealand destinations around the world from Fiji to the United States.
