Prime Breaks Sunday Night Record

Prime Television last night broke another viewing record with a 9.5 share in the 6.00pm - 10:30pm time slot (25 -54 demographic). Its highest ever Sunday night viewership thanks to its flagship motoring programme Top Gear and the family favourite movie, Crocodile Dundee in LA

Prime's top performing programs last night included Top Gear, featuring motoring guru Jeremy Clarkson and Crocodile Dundee in LA, starring legendary Australian Paul Hogan. Top Gear peaked at 200,600 viewers, with a share against the core demographic 25- 54 of 10.8. Crocodile Dundee in LA peaked at 182,700 viewers and obtained an average share of 12.1 against the 25 - 54 demographic.

The continued growth of Prime Television is clearly reflected in September's figures. Prime achieved its highest year to date share 6.00pm - 10.30pm of 5.6 for all people 5+ and 25 - 54 demographics.

Additionally, the 3rd quarter average prime time audience against 25-54 finished up 20% year on year.
