London Based Kiwis Back England In World Cup Final
Rugby World Cup Final: Kiwis in London to back England over Australia
A quarter of New Zealanders living in London will be backing England, not Australia, in the final of the Rugby World Cup according to a survey of rugby supporters.
300 Australians and New Zealanders working in London were asked by leading UK Recruitment Company, 1st Contact, who they would support if their team was knocked out of the competition.
While nearly half of the Kiwis couldn’t face supporting anyone else, nearly a quarter will be pinning their hopes on England.
After England nearly sixteen per cent said they’d be cheering for France.
Only a lowly one per cent said they’d back Australia once New Zealand had been kicked out.
