Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2004 Begins

Get ready for another dose of fabulous fashion. The big names of New Zealand fashion are back and with them a raft of new design talent for the fourth annual Air New Zealand Fashion Week (18-21 October 2004).


Carlson.

The country’s biggest fashion names are all committed to the event with the return of Kate Sylvester and Carlson after a year’s hiatus as well as the inclusion for the first time of Workshop, Helen and Chris Cherry’s highly regarded label.

They will show alongside other major stars of New Zealand fashion including Zambesi, NomD, WORLD, Trelise Cooper, Liz Mitchell and Karen Walker.

There’s a bumper crop of five Dunedin designers, four labels from the capital set to take to the catwalk, and three from Christchurch.


World.

Watch our for the eight Verge New Generation labels. They represent the best emerging talent in New Zealand Fashion and include Dawn Raid by Danny Leaosavaii and Andy Murnane, a label best known for its hip hop style, and james & august a new label created by television celebrity and interior designer Sally Ridge, and friends Tessa Apa, and Nicki Blackley. There will also be a featuring fledgling labels from Westfield Pasifika designers.
