Auckland college places 18th in world rankings
Results recently announced by IATA/UFTAA, the international organisation for air transportation qualifications, have placed an Auckland PTE at a position of 18th in the world.
This is for the International Travel and Tourism Foundation Diploma, which is offered by many travel training schools in New Zealand.
Crown Institute of Studies achieved a pass rate for their students of 79% in IATA’s June 2004 report. This result is well ahead of any other school in New Zealand, and places Crown amongst some of the highest-rated travel trainers in Europe and Asia.
Crown attributes the recognition by IATA to the commitment the college has made to quality teaching in a very competitive training market.
“Our travel courses have been developed
and refined over 14 years”, commented Jennifer Hill,
Director of Crown. “It has always been our goal to provide
the best travel training to our students and to have our
results recognized as world-class by an independent body is
truly satisfying. Our teachers, our students and employers
in the travel industry who have placed our graduates in high
demand can all share the credit for this outstanding
achievement
”.
