Sludge Report #98

Genoa Weather Report – Bullseye!

C.D. Sludge is delighted to report that the latest readings from the NOAA Supercomputer confirm that European weather remains intensely ironic in the lead-up to the G8 Summit in Genoa, and the Battle of Genoa, due to commence tomorrow.

As rain clouds gather a thousand kilometres to the north to rain on the participants in the climate conference at Bonn, it appears a low pressure system has broken off and headed south to rendevous with George Bush and his entourage as they arrive in Genoa.

Sludge Expects that with a good dousing from on high, and sequestered behind the protection of a few thousand Italian police officers and an iron wall, US President George Bush will quickly feel at home in Genoa.

The following pictures show the Genoa bound rain storm. Each image shows a six hour period. Starting on the afternoon of the 19th of July. Genoa is situated almost directly north of Corsica on the coast. Corsica is the top island of the two islands in the middle of the images.
