Scoop Images: Biker Envy

I was glad I had my digital camera with me the other weekend when I walked 'up town'. I saw this old guy sitting on his electric cart, one third of the way into the street around the Martinborough Square, just drinking in the sight of these guys across the road with their big bikes.

He seemed stuck there for the duration, mesmerised by the sight, so I crossed the street and took the first photo. Then he headed over to talk to the guys, so I took the close-up. This was no Hell's Angels biker group.

I headed off down Kitchener Street over the road from the pub, and a couple of local yokels commented to me that it must have been a great picture. They had been watching it all with great amusement - reckoned the old guy had been itching for a burn-off with the bikers.
