Scoop Interactive: Do You Hate Banks?

Bend An Ear Or Two And Score Tickets To The Bank Movie

Do you hate banks?

Scoop wants to publish your stories, experiences and views about banks.

Authors of the first ten stories about banks accepted for publication on Scoop will receive a free double pass to see The Bank Movie, opening on the biggest Screen in the Southern Hemisphere at the Embassy Theatre on March 28th and moving to the Paramount Theatre from April 4th.

There are also screenings in Auckland and Christchurch. Details on dates and venues will follow shortly.

Send submissions to editor@scoop.co.nz.

If you are stuck for an opening sentence for your submission, try " I hate banks because..."

The first five stories received before the 19th of March - and selected for publication - will be eligible to opt for a double pass to a special preview screening at the Paramount Cinema (6.30pm March 19th), featuring a Q&A session with the director and producer of the movie.

(Tickets to this screening are also available now from the Embassy box office - $12)

The Bank stars David Wenham ("Lord of the Rings: Two Towers"; "Better Than Sex") and Anthony LaPaglia ("Summer of Sam", "A View from The Bridge").

The preview screening will be attended by producer John Maynard and writer/director Robert Connolly who will be available for a Q&A at the end of the film. The audience will be comprised of politicians, bankers, lawyers, economists, accountants, stockbrokers etc which should make for some interesting dialogue.
