Hi there,
I recently shot a short film based on Peter Jackson's 1996 King Kong script. I put the film online at www.kongmovie.com and have had about 1 millions hits on the site in the last 5 days, despite the film being primarily an audition piece for Peter Jackson's film.
We shot the film in one day at the cost of about $800. At current rates my audition piece looks like it will be one of New Zealand's most successful short films based on view numbers.
