Late-Night Ministerial Decisions Need Reviewing
Ruth Dyson’s final late-night decisions as Minister must be reviewed and re-assessed, National ACC spokesperson Gerry Brownlee said today.
“The Prime Minister seems to be glossing over the fact that Ruth Dyson drank what experts estimate would have been the equivalent of a bottle of wine on Monday evening while working on her Ministerial papers.
“Ruth Dyson’s driving judgement was so impaired she was well over the legaI limit.
“Questions have to be asked about her judgement in making policy and other Ministerial decisions during the time she was drinking.
“The Prime Minister must give an undertaking that she will have Ruth Dyson’s decisions and paperwork reviewed by a sober Minister.”
