National's
Police spokesman Tony Ryall says he is disappointed many in
the media have decided to publicise 'Constable A's'
name.
"In light of the circumstances it would have been
more appropriate for the media to have continued showing
restraint.
"Most New Zealanders have appreciated the
responsible approach of the news media on this matter and
will be disappointed this could not have continued," Mr
Ryall said.
