Green CD A Sell Out

19 June 2002

The Green Party and LOOP Recordings Aot(ear)oa have ordered a re-press of the Green Room 001 EcoNation CD after many stores sold out.

In May the Greens sponsored the production of a cutting edge compilation of New Zealand music. The original 1000 copies sold out quickly and the Party and Loop will re-release a further 1000 copies.

The disc features tracks from Trinity Roots, Pitch Black, 50HZ, The Nomad, Barnaby (from the Black Seeds), Salmonella Dub, Che Fu and others. It will be on sale again in music stores across the country from next week.

"We have received a lot of calls from people who have heard the disc or have heard about it but are finding it sold out in stores," said Nandor.

"We are stoked with how well the Green Room has gone down, but we are not really surprised. This CD is a compilation of the finest new Kiwi music, it is beautifully produced and packaged and the message is powerful.

"Any supporter of New Zealand music will want a copy and we hope this next pressing allows those people who have been unable to buy one to finally get their hands on one."
