Disgruntled Nats Should Vote United Future, Not Labour

United Future leader, Hon Peter Dunne, is calling on disgruntled National voters thinking of voting Labour to stop the Greens forcing an early election over GE to give their party vote to United Future.

"Many National voters are thinking of using their party vote strategically to keep the Greens out, but will baulk at going right across the line to Labour."

"As a centre party, United Future offers them a much more viable alternative."

"United Future's position on GE is similar to both National's and Labour's, to move forward in a cautious manner, rather than forever stick in a rut, and we will support Labour on this if the Greens throw their toys out of the cot."

"For National voters worried about the Greens, but also unwilling to back Labour, a party vote for United Future is the perfect way forward, especially since our moderate values and policies are likely to be much more in tune with their own," Mr Dunne says.

Mr Dunne says that by winning his Ohariu Belmont seat United Future will cross the threshold for representation and every party vote for Unite Future would then count.

"400 disgruntled National voters in every electorate switching their party vote to United Future would add one more seat to our tally, and make it more likely the Greens will be stopped, whereas the same votes going to Labour would probably be wasted," he says.
