Labour Tourism Waffle

Labour have obviously run out of ideas on tourism, says National's Tourism spokesperson Katherine Rich.
"The Government's tourism policy is typical Labour thinking - set up a few committees, instead of actually doing anything. The only achievements they can point too are developing a framework, a strategy, and more bureaucracy.
"What the tourism industry needs is simple. They want lower taxes, less red tape, and less bureaucracy, particularly in dealing with employment law and the Resource Management Act.
"The tourism sector needs a Government on its side, that will do more than just talk," said Ms Rich.
