Questions to Ministers
1. DEBORAH CODDINGTON
to the Minister for Economic Development: Is he satisfied
that Industry New Zealand is distributing grants in a fair
and equitable way, and maintaining the standards of good
governance that he would expect?
2. CRAIG McNAIR to the Associate Minister of Health: What initiatives, if any, is he taking to discourage the usage of cannabis by young people?
3. KEITH LOCKE to the Prime Minister: Does she agree with this morning's Dominion Post editorial which states "To the outside world, which does not have the benefit of reading her press releases, New Zealand has just joined the build-up against Iraq."; if not, what is the basis for her alternative assessment of foreign perceptions of New Zealand's actions?
4. CLAYTON COSGROVE to the Minister of Finance: What reports has he received regarding the Government's weathertight homes resolution service?
5. Hon BILL ENGLISH to the Prime Minister: Does she stand by her statement made prior to the 1999 General Election when she pledged to stamp out the "culture of extravagance"; if so, will she direct a full and proper audit of all expenditure incurred by Dr Ross Armstrong during his tenure as the chair of Television New Zealand Ltd, New Zealand Post Ltd and Industrial Research Ltd?

SUE KEDGLEY to the Associate Minister of Health: What is his response to the call by the Child Safety Foundation to review regulations concerning arsenic-treated timber because of dangers it may pose when used in playgrounds, especially given the high levels of arsenic found in some Wellington playgrounds and the fact that such timber is banned or being phased out in some countries?
12. MAHARA OKEROA to the Associate Minister of Social Services and Employment (Employment): What recent reports has he received on Maori youth employment outcomes?
