Prime Minister Helen Clark announced today that the Crown Prince of Belgium, Prince Philippe, and Princess Mathilde, arrive in Auckland on Saturday for a four-day visit.

In Auckland their programme will include a Maori welcome and welcome by the Belgian community, a business luncheon, and visits to the Ellerslie Flower Show, the America’s Cup village, a Te Kohanga Reo unit, and the Muka Gallery and studios.

In Wellington Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde will lay a wreath at the National War Memorial, and attend a ceremony of welcome and official dinner at Government House.
