QUESTIONS TO MINISTERS

1. Rt Hon WINSTON PETERS to the Minister of State Services: When did the present Governor of the Reserve Bank leave the office of Secretary to the Treasury and why has the position of Secretary to the Treasury not been filled?

2. METIRIA TUREI to the Minister of Education: Why does the Government provide $8 million in equity funding to some community-based early childhood education providers, but not to privately-owned early childhood education providers?

3. Hon BILL ENGLISH to the Minister of Finance: In light of reports that there is an electricity supply crisis in New Zealand, does he agree that a failure to act by the Government could result in significant damage to the economy; if not, why not?

4. MARTIN GALLAGHER to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade: What, if any, emergency assistance will New Zealand make available to alleviate the human consequences of war in Iraq?

5.
