Culture and heritage
1. Almost $40 million
over four years to support Television New Zealand, Radio New
Zealand, New Zealand on Air and the Broadcasting Standards
Authority. [$14.6 million to RNZ already announced.]

$1 million over four years for iwi radio.
3. $6.5 million
for an information programme on the Treaty of Waitangi and a
further $5.9 million over the next four years for the Treaty
settlement process.
4. $34 million in 2003-04 to lift
participation in sport, and another $11 million for
additional sports coordinators in secondary
schools.

EnergyWise Home Grants to insulate the homes of low income
families.
2. $200,000 to the Solar Hot Water Grants
scheme.
3. Increase from $1 million a year to $2 million
for the Crown Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme.

million over two years for a public information campaign on
low sulphur diesel.
5. $2 million a year for four years
from next year for the Renewable Energy Market Development
Fund.
