Jones Offers To Explain No-Confidence Motions To Brash
“The Government has no need to question its support during the Budget process given that National voted twice with Labour during the last confidence vote on 17 February this year,” said New Zealand First Junior Whip MP Dail Jones.
Mr Jones was responding to Dr Brash asking the Prime Minister during question time today if the Government still had a majority on confidence and supply.
“Perhaps Dr Brash needs it explained that no-confidence votes only succeed when you vote against the Government - not with them,” said Mr Jones.
“I am more than willing to explain how it works, given his Parliamentary inexperience.”
