Questions to Ministers

1. Rt Hon WINSTON PETERS to the Prime Minister: What are the details, if any, she first received, including the date and from whom, regarding the problems with NCEA, and what directions did she give at that time?

2. BERNIE OGILVY to the Minister of Education: Is he satisfied that it is fair to base eligibility for student allowances for students under 25 on their parents' income, even if the students are married or have been supporting themselves for two years; if so, why?

3. Hon BILL ENGLISH to the Minister of Education: Did he make the decision that the New Zealand Scholarship Awards would be implemented in 2004 in the form it finally took; if so, what form did that decision take?

4. JEANETTE FITZSIMONS to the Prime Minister: Will she be raising Australia's ongoing refusal to ratify the Kyoto Protocol with Australian Prime Minister John Howard during his forthcoming visit to New Zealand; if so, what exact message will she be conveying?
