Nominations For Roger Award 2001
The Roger Award for the worst transnational corporation in NZ for 2001.
Below is the Nomination Form for this year's Roger Award. But first, a reminder ...
1) Criteria
The criteria for judging are by assessing the transnational that has the most negative impact in New Zealand in 2001, in each or all of the following fields: unemployment, monopoly, profiteering, abuse of workers/conditions, political interference/running an ideological crusade, environmental damage, cultural imperialism, impact on tangata whenua, impact on women, health and safety of workers and the public.
2) Judging
A panel of judges (to be announced) will be given a short list of nominations. The winner(s) will be announced in early 2002.
3) Nominations
You can nominate the same transnational as last year, as long as the nomination is about its misdeeds in 2001. You're welcome to send supporting evidence, such as press clippings, reports, etc. Give the source of quotes.
Nominations close on 31 October 2001.
