Wgtn: Thursday

Please forward this message on to people in the Wellington area.

The self appointed War Cabinet of Helen Clark, Jim Anderton, Mark Burton, Phil Goff and Michael Cullen may be happy about their decision to send NZ airforce Hercules and SAS soldiers to Afghanistan, but many people in this country are not. If you are in the Wellington area this coming Thursday, come along to this week's vigil for peace and say NO to the war ... see details below.

THURSDAY, 20 December - say NO to the war!

make the pre-Christmas vigil for peace the biggest yet, and send the NZ government a clear message that you do not want any NZ military involvement in the 'war on terrorism', that you do not want this country to have any part in the killing of the people of Afghanistan, and the SAS are to be brought back NOW!

5pm to 6pm, at the Cenotaph, cnr Bowen Street. For more info contact PMA, tel (04) 382 8129, pma@xtra.co.nz
