Activists Chain Themselves To House

Two International Activists Place Their Bodies in the Path Of the Israeli Army to Save a House Slated For Demolition

[Balata Refugee Camp, Occupied Palestine] In the pre-dawn hours of Sunday morning, eight Israeli army vehicles entered the Balata refugee camp,, outside the closed city of Nablus. They attempted to demolish the house of Abu Salim, the second time they have made this attempt in the past 24 hours. Last night, international presence surprised the soldiers, who have demolished a home in the Nablus area every night in the past week.

Two activists have chained themselves to the upper floors of the house in an attempt to stay demolition.
