PALESTINE - Emtiyaz Abass Abu Rass, 40, was killed Thursday early morning when the Israeli occupying forces opened indiscriminate fire towards the citizens’ houses, causing the fatal murder of her, during the incursion into the old town of Nablus city, Palestinian medical sources said.
The Israeli occupying forces (IOF) had arrested at least 16 Palestinians Wednesday in several cities in the West Bank.
IOF rounded up three Palestinian civilians from Sylat Al Harethia, west of Jenin, Palestinian security sources said.
Locals mentioned that a well -armed Israeli troop invaded the town and messed up the civilians’ belongings during house to house search seeking out the resistance activists.
The Israeli soldiers arrested three members of a family named as Naji Jaradat, 26, Adnan Jaradt, 35, Niddal Jardat, 18 aged.
In Qulqelia, eight Palestinians were held after a contingent of Israeli troops broke into the civilians’ houses in Shreem and Kfar Saba neighborhood.
Palestinian security sources named the arrested; Ghassan Shraim, 27, Adham Shraim, 23, Mohammed Abu Al Sa’id , Ahmed Mabrouk, Assem Nazal,40, Abed Al Rhman Maríe, 45, Mustafa Maríe,17, Hassan Al Basha . All were led to undisclosed locations.
A troop of Israeli soldiers incurred Wednesday into Beit Marsam village, south west of Hebron, wounded a Palestinian citizen and arrested fours others, WAFA news agency reported.
Locals accounted on that the Israeli soldiers vandalized and ravaged the citizens’ houses deliberately, smashing the windows of the houses, messing up with the furniture and physically abusing its dwellers, some of whom wounded with bruises. Afterwards, the soldiers arrested the citizen Waleed Amro, 51 years old.
In Beit Ryma town, North West of Rammallah, an underground commando penetrated and cordoned off one of the citizen houses, IPC correspondent said.
Witnesses told IPC correspondent that undercover commando disguised with civil uniform sneaked in the town, besieged the house of Dr. Mansour Ezat Al Burghothi and stormed in it by using watchdogs.
They arrested the two brothers Dr. Mansour and Abed Al Lateif Al Burghothi after messing up their houses.
Additionally, two others were arrested, named as Rushdi Al Remawe, 31, and Hashem Al Remawe, 25, the witnesses said.
On Wednesday overnight the Israeli occupying forces hailed a security post in Al Muntar area, east of Gaza city, with heavy machinegun fire, IPC reported.
The Palestinian security directorate in Gaza strip said that this fifth post came under fire by the Israeli occupying forces in less than 24 hours.
In southern Gaza, IOF shelled Wednesday overnight the apartment buildings of Al Zahra’ neighborhood, WAFA reported.
Witnesses said that the Israeli occupying forces positioned at the illegitimate Jewish settlement of “Nitzarim”, south of Gaza city bombarded heavily by tank shells and heavy machine gun fire one of the apartment buildings.
Gross damages were inflicted to a number of the apartments whose dwellers, particularly children, were horrified.
Almost 10 days ago, IOF blew up three large apartment buildings in Alzahra as well as the town's police station, While 5,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes.
