Location of incident: SH 1, between Pukerua Bay and Waikanae

Incident Type: Weather and Oil Spill

Police wish to advise that State Highway 1 has been re-opened with a temporary speed of 50 km per hr. The road is extremely slippery due to an oil spill and extreme care is required.
