Waitakere Police located a 2 year old female last night at about 12.30am outside an address in Waimumu Rd in Massey.
She was crying and in a state of distress and wearing a pink night dress.
She is described as part Maori and gorgeously cute as a button.
Police enquiries at the time to repatriate her were unsuccessful.
She is now in the care of CYPs and enquiries are still on-going.
