Police and Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident on State Highway 1, Oakleigh.
The collision occurred at approximatley 10.20am and involved 2 vehicles travelling just north of Mangapai Road.
Both north and southbound lanes are currently blocked and the following diversions have been put in place.
Northbound traffic on SH1 is being diverted onto Mangapai Road and southbound traffic diverted onto Maungakaramea Road. It is expected the Road will be blocked for a further period of time.
Westpac Rescue and other specialist units are still currently in attendance at the scene.
