Waikato Lotto Winners Celebrate

Waikato Lotto Winners Celebrate, As Powerball Jackpots Again

Powerball has jackpotted again, but two Waikato players will still be celebrating their fantastic win of $1,176,738 each with Lotto’s First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

The winning tickets were sold at Tuakau Supervalue and Pak N Save Clarence Street, Hamilton.

“Powerball has jackpotted for the eleventh week in a row, making it one of the top five Powerball prizes in NZ Lotteries’ history,” says Mr McLeay.

Lotto Powerball will be worth an estimated $16 million in next Saturday’s draw.

Strike Four was struck tonight, with an Auckland MyLotto player winning $188,462.

Nelia Mondares from Palmerston North was another big winner, spinning up a fantastic prize of $500,000 on the live Lotto draw in Wellington this evening.

The first thing she is going to tick off her wish list is to buy some tights she couldn’t afford last week.

“I saw some tights at K Mart that I liked last week, but they were $14 so didn’t get them. Now I can buy 100 pairs if I want – but I won’t!” she joked.

“I turn 49 next Friday, so this is the best birthday present ever.”

Tonight they’re ordering pizza with room service, and on a more serious note, she plans to pay her son’s student loan off, and visit family and friends in the Phillipines.

Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Paper Plus in Morrinsville. The serial number is 839-50006054-20XX.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
