DCC Community Grants Funding Allocated

Dunedin (Monday, 22 November 2010) - The Dunedin City Council’s September 2010 Community Grants funding round has been completed. The Community Assistance Sub-Committee, comprising Councillors and community representatives, has allocated funds to 89 groups and organisations, from the community, recreation, youth, arts, environmental, cultural, heritage and events sectors. These grants enable the Dunedin City Council to recognise the important contribution made by community organisations to the overall health and well-being of the city and its residents.

The next Community Grants funding round closes at 5.00pm on Friday 25 March 2011. Application forms will be available from DCC Customer Services Centres from early February.
