Woman seriously injured in Christchurch
Christchurch Central CIB is conducting an investigation
after a middle aged woman was located seriously injured in
the Central City early this morning.
Detective Sergeant Craig Farrant states that the female was transported to the Christchurch Hospital upon her discovery suffering from head injuries in Durham Street near the Salisbury Street corner at about 4.30am on Thursday morning.
He also states that the identity of the woman is yet to be positively established
The investigation is centred around how the woman received her injuries.
D/Sgt Farrant asked any person with any knowledge of this incident please contact Police on 363 7400.
