Helen Hunt Supports Christchurch

Kia ora

I thought you might be interested in this innovative way Helen Hunt is sending support to those hurting in Christchurch.

Helen Hunt from Gisborne Vehicle Testing has organised for 5000 of her Comfort Bears to be manufactured and shipped from Shanghai for the young and old of Christchurch. She has organised freight at special rates and free storage in Christchurch. NZ Army, Salvation Army, Red Cross and other agencies will be distributing them.

Helen now needs help to pay for them. Her discounted price is $1.30 per bear. Helen works at Gisborne Vehicle Testing on Childers Road. They are holding a sausage sizzle fundraiser between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday 2 March. They are asking all hungry motorists to pop in for a sausage or just to make a small donation to help Helen get this small symbol of comfort to people who need them at the moment.
