Missing Person: One Tree Hill, Auckland

Police are currently searching for a missing 76 year old male in the suburb of One Tree Hill, Auckland.

The male left home at about 1.30pm when he went out for a walk and was later seen at the optometrists in Royal Oak at around 2pm.

The missing person does suffer from mild Alzeimers and Dementia.

He is described as having a slim build, 5'7" tall, white hair wearing a light grey long sleeved wind breaker and brown shorts.

Any sightings should be reported to Police as soon as possible.

The decade between 1952 and the early 1960s was the peak period for the style of music we now call doo wop, after which it got dissolved into soul music, girl groups, and within pop music in general. Basically, doo wop was a form of small group harmonising with a distinctive chord progression that – like hip hop – started out on the streets.
