Fanzone and Town Hall activity this weekend in Wellington

There’s plenty happening this weekend at the Rugby Village FANZONE and Civic Village as Wellington gets set to play host to the South Africa v Fiji match on Saturday (17 September).

The Rugby Village FANZONE on the waterfront is proving popular, so make sure you get there early to enjoy the games live on the big screen and our pre-match entertainment, as capacity is limited.

Tonight popular reggae band Cornerstone Roots will be playing from 6.30 – 8pm before live screening of the NZ v Japan game at 8pm.

Fans can also head along to the warmth and comfort of the family-friendly Town Hall – part of the Civic Village. This is an alcohol-free venue also screening live weekend matches. There will be plenty of free community and multicultural performances on stage in the lead-up to the games.
