Dancing in the aisles as Xmas takes over Remuera New World

PRESS RELEASE

Thursday 10 November 2011

For Immediate Release

Dancing in the aisles as Christmas takes over Remuera New World!

Remuera New World is turning its aisles into a Christmas Party on Wednesday 16 November at 7pm.

This is the third Christmas Party that owner operator Adrian Barkla has thrown and has now become an annual event in the calendar due to the huge success of the previous two Christmas Parties with over 2,000 customers partying at the Clonbern Road supermarket.

“This party is to not only celebrate the silly season, but more importantly to thank all the Remuera New World customers for their loyalty and support throughout this busy year. This is also an opportunity to thank all our hard-working staff for yet another successful year and we couldn’t have done it without them,” says Barkla.

Acclaimed singer Phil Madsen and the fabulous Miss Ribena and friends will be the highlight of the night which will surely get the customers dancing in the aisles. Also included will be performances by singing duo Cathy and Gabby, The Auckland Chamber Choir, musicians from St Kentigern School and face painters and balloon artists to keep the little ones entertained.

New World Remuera plays a huge part in the local community, supporting the surrounding schools and not-for-profit groups as well as working closely with the Remuera Business Association, who will support the celebratory event by ‘waitressing’ for the customers during the evening.

So come along and join in the festive spirit! To RSVP visit: www.remueranewworld.co.nz
