REMONDIS formerly known as Metrowaste are Waste Solution Specialists that provide eco-friendly waste disposal and recycling solutions throughout the Greater Auckland, Auckland Central/ West Region and Rodney District. REMONDIS services cover 82,000 Households a week, and provide general waste and recycling bag collections every night in the Auckland CBD and residential and public collections in the Rodney district. They also offer a range of recycling and general waste services to commercial businesses throughout the Greater Auckland Region. REMONDIS is a family run company with International experience. They operate in 28 different countries at over 500 locations. REMONDIS values show through in their approach to business and their eco-friendly systems that ensure any waste that can’t be rightly disposed of does not have a negative impact on the environment.

REMONDIS has four major industrial recycling plants across the globe. At these plants, they research and produce bio-fuel and other sustainable substitutes for oil. REMONDIS also have bio-mass fuelled power plants and refuse-fuelled power plants on location.

REMONDIS offers a large range of solutions to your recycling needs. They can provide you with the proper bins and receptacles. Residentially you may use household wheelie bins, skip bins and prepaid bags. For commercial addresses, REMONDIS offer the same wheelie bins and prepaid bags, as well as large four wheel bins, and front load bins up to 4.5 cubic metres. For larger projects REMONDIS has hook bins and 3 and 9 metre gantry bins which are ideal for huge loads and construction materials. REMONDIS also offer portable toilets to the construction sector.

They are also proud of their services at their Recovery Park. Located in Silverdale, this site receives a large amount of waste and recyclables. Recovery Park practices waste minimisation, meaning that the site is dedicated to handling waste with the most sustainable methods available.
