Rotary Works In Fiji Floods
Rotary in Fiji is providing immediate response to those
severely affected by the recent and ongoing flooding.
Rotary New Zealand World Community Service (Stuart Batty) and District 9920 Governor Alan Eyes are in regular communication with Fiji.
There is a coordinated response being managed by Rotarian Bob Niranjan with distribution of prepositioned Emergency Response Kits and food parcels being assembled and delivered to families and communities.
Rotarians in New Zealand have asked how they
can assist personally. We invite all Rotarians and others,
to consider making a donation to purchase a NZ $40 food
parcel which will provide basic non-perishables for a family
of four for a week. These are being supplied to Rotary on
credit in good faith by grocery merchants in Fiji.
As
money is urgently needed
