All Whites v Jamaica: Getting to and from Mount Smart

Auckland Transport Media Release
28 February 2011
Getting to and from Mount Smart

The All Whites take on Jamaica in a football international at Mount Smart Stadium tomorrow night.

Auckland Transport expects traffic in the area to be heavy prior to the 7.30pm kick-off and we would advise people to give themselves plenty of time to get to the ground.

A good way to get to and from Mount Smart is by train or bus.

Additional trains will be operating on the Southern and Western Lines to Penrose station, normal fares will apply.

People travelling from the North Shore are encouraged to use the Northern Busway and transfer onto a Southern Line train at Britomart Transport Centre. The train journey takes around 16 minutes.

After the game passengers are advised to catch a train from Penrose, there will be extra services.
