Wellington Airport disrupt information

Most flights have resumed at Wellington Airport but it is advisable to check the Airport’s website and to contact their airline for specific flight details.

Dense fog caused a large number of flights to be affected from 3pm onwards at Wellington Airport on Wednesday 21 March with less than 500 metres of visibility at times.

Air New Zealand and Wellington Airport staff provided blankets, food and water to the 115 guests that stayed overnight.
