Missing person sought


Police are seeking the whereabouts of Mr Lafaere LUI, reported missing from his home address in Mount Wellington, Auckland this afternoon. Mr LUI was last seen by his partner leaving their bedroom between 7am and 8am on the 16th of April 2012.

Mr LUI is described as:

- Male Samoan
- 5 foot 10 inches (or 176cm) tall
- 70 years old
- Solid build
- Black hair
- Grey moustache
- He is missing the tip of his left index finger - Brown eyes

Mr LUI was last seen wearing:

- Grey track pants
- Blue or black tartan shirt

Mr LUI speaks broken English and his main language is Samoan. He is familiar with the suburbs of Mount Wellington, Panmure and Favona/Mangere.

He has asthma as well as dementia and is not carrying his inhaler with him. Anyone with information on Lafaere LUI's whereabouts is requested to contact the Police on Ph: 571.2800.
