Wellington Police seek Daniel Wiari

Wellington Police are looking for 31 year old Daniel Wiari who is wanted in relation to a number of matters.

Detective Sergeant Mike Priston of the Wellington CIB says Wiari is a patched gang member who had a warrant issued for his arrest by the Wellington District Court for failing to appear last week.

Wiari is also wanted for breaching his residential parole conditions recently.

"We would also like to speak to Daniel Thomson Wiari in relation to a number of alleged residential burglaries in Wellington city recently and want to hear from anyone who may know his whereabouts."

Wiari is described as Maori of medium build, around 181 to 185 centimetres in height and is believed to be somewhere in the wider Wellington District.

"Wiari is considered dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public. If you do see him or know his whereabouts we ask that you come forward and speak with us as soon as possible."
