Full description:

At about 8:15 am this morning there was a fatal crash at the intersection of SH29 and Ruahihi Road, Tauranga.
This crash involve an unladen logging truck and one other vehicle.
Diversions are in place through Poripori Road for Tauranga bound vehicles and for Waikato bound traffic through Cambridge Road, State Highway 2 and Wairoa and Poripori Roads.  Drivers are urged to take extreme care through the diversion route on Wairoa and Poripori Roads.
The diversions are expected to remain in place through to at least 1130hrs and if drivers are able to avoid using this route that would be helpful.
