Flooding in Rotorua

Rotorua Police advise that SH36, Hamurana Road, near Keith Rd is closed due to flooding.

Council contractors are aware and are arranging signage and diversions.

Motorists are at present being turned around and people are advised to avoid the area.

There are other areas of localised flooding throughout the region and motorists are advised to take extra care.
