Whanganui Police have now lifted a lock down at Churton School in Aramoho after responding to an incident where it was reported a man was on school property allegedly with a firearm.
Officers have not been able to confirm the report and cordons have now been lifted.
Police want to thank the community for their patience and understanding during the response.
