At about 1:40pm on Thursday 18 September
2014 members of the Invercargill CIB with the assistance of
the Armed Offenders Squad executed a Misuse of Drugs Act
search warrant at an Invercargill address.
As a result of
the search police seized a quantity of crystal
methamphetamine with a potential street value of
approximately $13000.00.
Approximately $7000.00 in cash was also seized.
A 24 years old female from Invercargill has been arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Supply and is to appear in the Invercargill District Court on tomorrow.
Police are still investigating the matter and it is likely further charges will be laid.
