Chalkle has relaunched!
At Chalkle we’re driven to see a world where learning is something we do for life and where everyone has something to teach.

How
does that happen?
We’ve relaunched chalkle.com
as a platform to support a network of educational providers;
from independent teachers and local community groups to
businesses, libraries, councils, government departments and
corporates.
“By connecting more learners with inspiring, exciting learning experiences we want to see ‘a renaissance of learning’ in our communities” says CEO & Founder Silvia Zuur. And, the ball is rolling.
Slam Poetry to Ancient Forest Wisdom to Card Tricks and many other classes are popping up across the country. Over 25 providers are now active, including the Department of Conservation, TeTakere Library, Hutt City Libraries, Waiheke Adult Learning, Nayland College & Volunteer Nelson.
Connect in
the real world.
Chalkle.com makes it simple for
providers to manage any kind of offline learning program -
from taster one-off classes, to longer courses and
conference/workshops.
Learners book online and learn offline, connecting with teachers and fellow learners face-to-face in the real world.
Who is behind
it?
Chalkle is Wellington based business, part
of the Enspiral network and led by founding team Silvia
Zuur, Matthew Kerr and Anthony Cabraal.
The idea grew from the success of the Meetup group of the same name, kickstarted by Zuur and serial entrepreneur Linc Gasking over a mid-winter coffee in 2012. After a whirlwind of community organising that delivered over 600 classes in Wellington, Chalkle began moving to create scalable solutions to help support and empower other providers.
“Chalkle works by connecting, catalysing and strengthening local learning eco-systems – not replacing them. We are committed to building infrastructure for a better world of learning” says Zuur.
Join as a provider!
As long as
classes have more than two learners involved, have a
teacher, happen in the real world and are open to the public
we’d love to support them on chalkle.com
Welcome to the renaissance of learning!
