A 41 year old male has been arrested with the assistance of the Armed Offenders Squad, after an incident in Roosevelt Avenue, Onehunga.
The incident started shortly after 3.15 am this morning, when the occupants of an address became concerned about the behaviour of another male in the house, including the fact that he was holding a sword.
The occupants of the house left, and when Police attended, the male was observed still holding the sword.
The Armed Offenders Squad attended, and at about 8;15 am, the male was arrested.
He will be facing a number of charges in relation to his behaviour.
No one was injured during the
incident.
