Rider flown to hospital in a critical condition - Kopu Hikuai Road, Puriri - Waikato

At about 3.30pm today Police attended a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle with a single rider on the Kopu Hikuai Road. A male rider has been flown to hospital in a critical condition.

There will be diversions in place at SH 25 and 25A (Thames side) and SH 25 and 25A (Hikuai). Alternative routes include the 309 Road and through Waihi township.
