"Investigation into Rolleston burglary results in arrest"
Canterbury Police investigations into a burglary at a residential property in Rolleston on 30 January 2015 where a quantity of jewellery, personal items and motocross equipment was stolen has resulted in one person being arrested this afternoon (1 April 2015).
Canterbury Police are working with the victims of the burglary and some items have been recovered.
A 25 year old man is due to appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow (2 April 2015) on a number of charges including burglary and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Canterbury Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
