Fatal Crash State Highway 26 - Morrinsville - Waikato
Police are investigating the scene of a fatal
three car crash, on State Highway 26, near the intersection
with Harbottle Road, about five kilometres south west of
Morrinsville. The crash occurred at about 2.30 pm. The
driver of one the vehicles has died at the scene and drivers
and passengers in the other two vehicles received injuries
that are described as not life threatening. Police serious
crash unit is in attendance.
Diversions are in place eastern end of State Highway 26 at Tauwhare Road and then west on Tahuroa. The western end diversion is at Kuranui Road onto Tahuroa. The road will be closed for at least the next two hours.
